Hey everyone, im going to be travelling through europe at the end of july into august and of course i am spending about 8-9 days in ibiza. I will be travelling by train all over italy, france and spain and i get to a point where i will be in Valencia or Barcelona. From there i need to get to ibiza im hoping cheap. Is it better to fly or take a ferry across the water to the island? If so, does anyone know of some great sites or cheap ways to get there?
Any help is totally appreciated
Thanks

You can find some cheap flights on any of the Spanish airlines - Spanair, Iberia, Vueling. I assume in July/August it'll be more expensive but I only spent around 120 euros each on our roundtrip Barcelona-Ibiza on Spanair in June. There's cheaper deals on the airlines' websites than through other travel sites, and if you take their less-traveled flights (nighttime or early morning) then I've seen seats for as low as 30 euros each way.

You can also try the ferries. Check the main Spotlight site for info and links (http://www.ibiza-spotlight.com/transport/ferry_i.htm)

Ferries leave from Denia and from barcelona
DO a search here for ferries:
http://www.iscomar.com/
www.balearia.net
www.transmediterranea.com

And try spanair, vueling or iberia for flights or even a search engine like expedia.
