Hi Minxy!
I can rate the Hostel Valencia quite highly. Its family run, clean and in a quiet area yet only 10 mins walk to the West End and the front. I returned from there only last week, booking via here taking guidance from the reviews, and i was very happy.
The only downside was the food available there was limited, but with many restaurants a short stroll away, it wasnt a problem. Oh, and theres no a/c but you can hire fans for 3 euros a day and 10 euros refundable deposit.
They truely were very hospitable, friendly and so so helpful, will definately return. On our last day there, after seeing Tiesto the night before, we were supposed to vacant the room at midday, but we asked if we couldnt extend this and were allowed to stay until 10pm, which was especially nice as my friend is disabled and they didnt even charge us!
Ive already got Ibiza Blues, I miss the white isle, the Valencia, oh and did I mention Honor the hotel dog (theres also a cat too)! Shes was lovely, barks at you the first time, and then remembers you after that lol!
