Ushuaia for free

If you don't want to pay Ushuaia prices, they have their own beach bar which is free entry, Tongy played there last year.
Other alternatives for outdoor clubbing are Beach House, Bora Bora, Sands etc ... and are all free.
Also Destino in Talamanca which is alot cheaper than Ushuaia, but you gain a similar experience.
Although none of these places accommodate the EDM sound.

two years ago we were in the area during Guetta's set and found some beach beds (the ones that have drapes) right behind Ushuaia and had a few drinks there. if my memory serves me correct the sound wasn't that bad and we stayed there eating and drinking for a good few hours...by the end all the beds had people sitting and drinking on them.

can I not just wear a towel. 
maybe you guys are right - i still remember enjoying the evening. there was about 40-50 people just sitting/milling about the beach beds and while i have to agreed the sound wasn't great, you could still hear it pretty well. But maybe we were just enjoying the atmosphere and that is influencing how i remembered the music....
