Ushuaia and Hard Rock

Being that both of these places would have had their closing parties by the time I fly out on Sun 4th Oct for a sneaky 3rd trip this year, would there be much point in staying in these hotels? Will there be parties and a good vibe in the daytime, or will it be dead?

Thanks!

Dan

Ushuaia was pretty full first week in Sept but I don't think there is much point staying there when there is nothing on. Loads of better value places to stay

I'm arriving on the 3rd, staying at Algarb which was £450 for a week all inc. Can't complain at that price and easy reach of Space and Sankeys, not sure what it till be like in the daytime!

Algarb has it's merits (from what I've heard/read), however it is quite a world away from the likes of Ushuaia & Hard Rock...

Totally, it's just a place to crash really. Stayed there in June and it was decent for the price! But as DelMarSunset says, no point shelling out if there's nothing going on... or am I just tight? :)

Agreed on the Ushuaia front. (tbh I've yet to see a positive review of the place in general, events or not).

Hard Rock i stayed last year over closings. Can't recommend it enough if luxury is what you're after (and you have the €€€ to fund).

Stayed there 2 weeks ago.

Pleasant enough. Real mixed crowd, families, old people but clubbers. Food was average-good and repeated a lot, but the pasta station was good. Free bar decent too but closes bang on 11
