We,re going to Ibiza in April and taking our grandaughter, Shes looked at her passport today and it runs out in June, is she going to be okay, The guy that answered the Ryanair helpdesk was no help at all,all he could say was it depends on where youre going, fair comment, but he didnt know what it was for Ibiza
Our daughter will send of the application on Monday if need be, just need to know what the rules are for Ibiza
thanks

Should be the same as Spain, Heather - as long as she has a return ticket and a valid Passport covering the duration of her stay should be fine. Technically, you don't actually need a passport to travel within the EU anyhow .. but that's a whole other story in practice so best to have one valid through to her re-entry to UK.

i would renew it.as most airlines sometimes state you need 6 months valid passport.post monday should get it back by end of week.double check details on form.what i do is get two.dummy one to play about with.but double read all questions.no need to pay £7.50 ?. at post office to have it checked,if wrong it will be posted back to you.when posting do it special derlivery.

it needs doing anyway so why not do it now.

I spoke to Ryanair today and theyve said as theres still time left on her passport when we get back, her passport will be fine , thank goodness
