Oh yes!! :D

Have to say, i'm a bit dispointed with it.
Last years one was awesome. It had a darker CD1 from Darren and much funkier and uplifting CD2 mixed by Mutiny.

This one is TOO dark throughout and not as "happy" (if theres such a thing). Every other track seems to be Paul Jackson's or a mix of his (If i wanted that i'd get his album).

I dont know, it might be just me being in a summery mood.
It'll hopefully grow on me. :D

I'm with Ferd on this one, very poor in comparison to the last 2 (No2 wasn't that much either!). To many compilations released these days are poor and of the same nature, too many remixes by the DJ's who compiled the CD, there is other music out there!! :x :x :x

The CD is full of the tunes released by the underwater label and obviously includes work from the producers signed to them...

If you want a happy sounding compilation why don't you go out and buy 'hed kandi'!! ;)

I'm loving the dark underground sound of this CD, it's actually quite refreshing not to have a CD full of 6 month old funky house tunes on my stereo!!!

I take your point 8) , but unfortunately Hed Kandi doesn't cater for my tastes

When Underwater does The End, Mutiny always plays the "funky" AKA Bar. Its not Hed Kandi funky, but a slightly harder edge.
Last years compilation had 2 very different CD, similar to the night.

This year seems they've gone all for main room stuff. I mean Agoria tracks could easily go in a techno compilation, and i dont think Underwater is about techno.

About having too many Underwater songs on it, thats fine when the label has a few big tunes doing the rounds in clubs, but this year hasnt been as good as the previous few years for Underwater.

Appart from "Blockbuster" i cant see any of others doing that well this year.
And are 6 month old funky tunes any worse than "Just Kick" or "David"??

We'll obviously have to agree to disagree on this one mate. ;)
