Underground club (opposite Privilege)

Hey All!

Last year one of my mates ended up going to this place called the Underground (formerly the ex-Indiana Café ) saying it was a really good night! Its set in a villa-type club opposite Privilege on the San An road.

They didn't really advertise their nights like all the other clubs, but they had a wicked night on thursdays.....it was really cheap to get in and the music was quality ibiza-stylee!!

According to my mate you only heard about this place on the grapevine, but i was wondering if anyone knew about it and what they were doing this year??

i think the night you're talking about is run by Mr C... that dude from the shamen.

It was a free night but i never got to go last year. I read about it though and Mr C was saying something like he was running these free partys with the intention of making it an ongoing thing... whether he's gonna start charging once it's up and running is something i can't remember...

But the attitude sounded good so if hes charging this year or not and it's still going i'll be giving it a look.

Did all the big clubs last year but really want to try and get to some of those free parties this time round. Not cos i'm tight just remember all the illegals from back in the day and they were some of the best nights.

If you hear of any let me know...
 
I went last year and it was a brilliant night, we went Thursday night too i think.

I nearly fell over coming out of the inside onto the terracy bit :oops: :roll: :lol:

Will deffo be going again this year 8)
 
Thats wicked....im glad to hear its not just a vicious rumour!

My mate said he went on a thursday, and said the people and music were quality!! It has the atmosphere of a massive villa party, without all the furniture.....

I really cant wait to try this place out next thursday :P 8)

It's a really good place to pre-party before hitting the bigger clubs on either side. Give it a go!
 
I went last year on a Thursday and it was spot on. Didn't make it on my recent trip but will def be there when I go in August.
It's a top night and still relatively unknown to the masses.
 
we popped in to Mr. C's Superfreak night on tuesday last year

i hear its moved to another night but unsure which - was hoping it might be on tuesday this year again

I read in an interview that he's doing tuesday's again as he calls it 'the hardest night on the island'.
 
The Underground

Sounds niiiiiice guys.... :!: Will take ya'lls advice and try to hit this before Cream and/or Pacha. Know what time it begins???
 
It opens at midnight but like all the other clubs, doesn't get good until about 2. Don't expect to have a brilliant time if you're doing another club on the same night, Underground is good enough to have a full night there believe me. Also makes for a cheap night too.
