Hello everyone.
As im am making my first visit to Ibiza this year i was looking for a few helpful hints to stop me worrying about the impending greatest two weeks of my life.
1. Some of my mates are not quite 18 yet, are clubs likely to let them in, no questions asked? or are there some precautions needed to garuntee entry?
2. Does anyone have any suggestions on how much spending money is needed? Obviously the more the better, a rough estimate would be appreciated!
3. What are the best nights to go to. We are out in Ibiza 3rd-17th July, and i have looked on the party calendar and other sites, but you can't beat peoples own experience, so a pointer would be much appreciated.

Thanks in advance for any responses, anything trivial that you think might help, please feel free to let me know!!

1) Never heard of anyone being asked for Age id's - it's nothing like the UK! There again, I'm in my 30's so maybe I don't mix with that crowd ;-)

2) The more the merrier. The supermarkets are cheap, but try buying a drink in a club and you'll soon be bankrupt (think £10 typically - though you do get a 'glug glug glug half the glass is full' of spirit rather that a measly UK measure)

3) Depends what you're into. Manumission is overrated, but you must go once, just to say you've been, and Privilege is amazing when it's fully open (10,000 people I think, easy to get lost). Cream at Amnesia always good value, and if you're into techno, Carl Cox's night at Space is the best I've ever been to (went last 2 years, will be going at some point this year too).

Hi Deano.

1. You shouldn't have a problem with ID etc as long as you act responsibly on entry.
2. As far as spending money goes, tough one. I'm taking £1500 for 11 nights this year and I know i'll get through it without blinking. Techno is quite right, drinking in the clubs is very costly - I paid 25 euros last year for a vodka and orange and a bottle of beer in El Divinos VIP lounge!! Definitely pays to get hammered before you go clubbing. (But bear point 1 in mind ;) )
3. Definitely is a matter of taste but in my opinion you can't really go wrong. Each of the clubs are a total experience you won't forget. Your best bet is to check out who is playing where and go with the type of music you like because you're likely to get a different answer from everyone on here.

Trust me you'll never want to go anywhere else after visiting Ibiza.

Enjoy!!

hey in ibiza now m8,

1) no1 eva gets id its a fact

2) depends where u wana go each nite, parties dont get started at big clubs properly till like 2am so cud allways go down and get shitfaced from a supermarket for virtually nothing, but then again id rather do drugs myself  i rekon about 1000 for 2 weeks shud b ok

3) nites depends on wat ur lookin for obviously, but most common nights that are packed =

mondays - manumusion (very over rated but u have to go , nothing like seeing 2 dwarfs playing connect 4 in the middle of the dancefloor) and my girlfreinds a manumission stripper (not decided wether this is a good or bad thing yet!)

tuesdays - warter/foam party at eden or esparadie (not sure which) the foam burns but hey, wat other places can u go to where there are thousands of people bouncin up and down and u can trip over a couple having sex next to u and u not realise there there!

wednesday - garlands, gotta go its a good laugh and army yeah!

thursdays - cream cream and more cream love it ! enuff said!

fridays - pacha allways packed and all good

saturdays - gotta go sunset for atleats one day ! its awsome i suggest saturdays!

sundays - judgement sundays at eden, sell out event everyweek - gotta get my ticket for opening judgement this sunday

hope this helps at all.

Interesting choice to go with Judgement Sundays instead of We Love at Space....?

I think it boils down to the style of music people are interested in. I agree with you on the We Love Sundays, but if you are into a more harder edge house/trance, Judgement is very good for that. Last summer, some girls we were staying next door to, did that exact same thing. :? 8O
