Turnmills to become Office block?

That confirmed a rumour i heard . Is a shame but to be honest ive never liked Turnmills as a venue myself

things change, times move on, new places open, old places close

or we would all still be doing tea dances at the Golders Green Hippodrome

Only been once to see Roger Sanchez it was a brilliant night, although the club was unbelievably full to bursting point.

R.I.P Trade for the last time

Still the best club in London - so sad but might be the gentle nudge I need to start growing up a bit.

Indeed, or the Bostom Arms in Tufnell Park!

(Happy New Year big man, btw!)

Ditto, and ditto MH.

Just when I started to like the place since they knocked down the wall by the DJ booth. Knew it was on the cards for a while though looks like it's deffo going to happen now.

Like the venue or not, less nightclubs is bad news for any town IMO. Just look at how it's (nearly!) ruined New York's scene:cry:

I completely agree, it seems only yesterday they opened Fabric and Home and every club was rammed every weekend. It's definitely a sign of the times.

happy new year all

i think all the closing of clubs will work out fine, all promotors will look for other venues i'm sure, just as turmills stated they will build another club

it will be sad to see it go, just like the corss and canvas but i am sure more doors will open
