Tune Of Your Holiday...

Just wondered what everyones top tune of their week/fortnight/month etc was. Doesn't have to be a tune you heard in a club, could be a tune from a restaurant you went to for a nice meal, or, as in my case, a song that they played on the radio!

For me, its Eric Prydz' Call Me - this came a few times when driving to or from beaches and even though it meant we would lose the a/c, we had to pop the windows down for all to hear!!

My other tune is when Tiesto played Flashdance by Deep Dish at Cream - that went down a treat!!

Sad to be back but now means I got something to look forward to next year!!

I'm sure I heard "Don't Go" by Yazoo, both on the terrace and at Bora Bora. It was a bit of a "moment" for me, but then again I'm an oldie, and it was one of my faves originally back in the day.

Then again, it was all a bit surreal, and having just got back I may have dreamt it - any other confirmed "sightings" would be appreciated.

Entirely probable...

There were a couple of remixes last year and year before doing the rounds. I still play one of them every now and then and it always gets a good reaction :)
 
Alter Ego - Rocker while at Subliminal or

Strings of life in a special taxi ;) on the way out to Amnesia.

Can't really chose between the 2, both moments I'll never forget. :D
 
Which mix of Joe Smooth - Promised Land was played during the Manumission show as it sounded more pumping and bassey than the original mix?

Also is the Strings of Life being played in Ibiza atm by Derek Carter or is it a new reamke??

The Derrick May one is the original but there's a few doing the rounds, the Danny Krivit edit is best imo ;)
 
I'll have to agree with mitzumadness and tigeryang Deep dish's flashdance is awesome, sharam played it in Dublin (Red box) a few times last november and I didn't hear it again until a few weeks ago in Pacha

I went early doors and although thats more like it had been released for a while,i had never seen it in the same light as hearing it on the terrace :D

My favourite so far would be Strings of Life - Soul Central, played all over the island...makes the hairs on my neck stand up (you all know the feeling!)

I know its been hammered, but I also heard a chillout version of Lola's Theme.....played at Mambo, just after the sun had kisses the sea goodnight....wow it hit the spot :!:

Strings of Life (krivit), flashdance and alter ego were the most hammered (I reckon)
 
Bombdogs - I Cant Explain This was one of my faves although i only heard it out twice in Ibiza :cry:
