description : basically its a pretty chunky beat with hints of chimes and slight wind howling effect. male vocal repeating this >> get on down,...get on,....get on down,...get on

no you were right the first time comin' at ya -

switch - get on down

I think he was correcting himself on the previous tune they'd released ;)

Was down in Bristol at the weekend Crofty. Went to some bars by the waterfront (bit cheesy round there) and then some place called Liquid which wasn't great but some of the tunes were ok, at least it was house and not bloody r'n'b like most bars by the waterfront.

woops.....note to self "must read entire post"

yeah the waterfront here is hell on earth - townie central i'm afraid.

liquid is a nice enough bar like you say - it's run by a guy called Matt Langsen who's brother has got something to do with Defected so they get reasonable DJ's down there now and again.

how come you were in this neck of the woods?

Apparently his brother DJ's down there a lot cos one of my mates tried to get a gig and he reckons it's impossible.

I was down for my mate's birthday. He also announced him and his new wife are having a little sprog! They've just got married, are buying their second house AND having a baby. I bet he'll be changing jobs next just to make his life even more exciting 8O

getting a gig ANYWHERE in Bristol is near impossible, thats why i thought funk it and started our own nights.

cheers for that :D

i'll been even happier now if i can get hold of it on soulseek

wot a corker !!!

proper chunky house

Why dont you go out and buy it on vinyl and give something back to the producers who spent time and effort creating it rather than steal from soulseek.

And if you are in Brighton you have one of the best record shops in the country - Covert records - which is where the sound clip is from.

fair point but give that rant to the other millions doing the same

its all down to a place called ibiza,....mucho dinero resulting in no dinero for pleasures such as vinyl buying etc.

plus i love to mp3 mixb

You wont have an Ibiza to go to if the artists producing the music cant afford to produce any more. The scene will go down the drain - It's a cycle you know.
