Tune ID - Hed Kandi

hook

From summer 2004 but heard it this summer at Hed Kandi nights. Ok, I'm not sure these words are correct but I'm quite confident there's no others in the track apart from these.

"No matter what you do............. sure (or so) in love with you"

There's a repeating hook which is heard after each time the vocal's sung. Something like a synth sound which goes "doooo d do do".

Cheers.

Sounds like Duke - So in love...

Don't remember it getting played though...

Mind you, don't really remember a lot out there....

None of them I'm afraid, absolutely loved it but I was obviously in no state to really remember how it went.
Matt, you played it in the Empire in Middlesbrough not so long back. I've racked my brains and just can't come up with anything else. If only I kept myself right. 8O

The only other time I've heard it was when working in Holland on the dance music radio station they have over there.
Didn't get the name though. :(

The tune you're after is:

Nu Electric - No Matter What [Free2air]

Original, Jupier Ace, & Hoxton Whores Mixes came out this past July.

It samples Duke - So In Love With You

My favorite is the TV Rock Remix, not sure if it ever got released though.

I think the Duke track came out in 96 or 97. The Full Intention Mix was the shitttttttt back then, it's an absolute classic.

It's not the one I'm afraid, class track though.

I remember the words being similar to duke but the way its sung is different, and it's a female vocalist.

awww Duke, what a track.

Personal favourite - one of these ones that when you hear you cant stop smiling...

Thanks for your help mate, but it's def a different track altogether.

I'd also have to disagree on the Duke vocal sample, I think it's a bloke with a high voice myself. Might be wrong though.

I never said Duke wasn't a male vocal. I was under the impression that the vocals were recut for the Nu Electric track. I may be wrong though because there is most definitely a lot of vocal filtering in the track.

Back to the tune in question, did it have an electro-house sound?
