27th- 3rd Aug
Arrived at about 11pm wed 27th, so after sorting out accomadation, headed to mambo for a couple of drinks, then to savannah, then home about 4am for some sleep.
Thurs 28th- Awoke early so straight to sunsea for some sun action, where there were loads of workers still carrying on form garlands....what a mess they were in
Stayed by pool all day, then went for food and several bottles of wine at kasbah. My friends that i went with (2 of them) are old trance lovers and i had told them i would go to cream with them. So we arrived at about 3am and amnesia was full to bursting and i was blown away by the scene as i entered the main room, the place was going nuts, and that ice cannon is pretty cool! My main moan of the night is that the crowd was full of 'westenders' who did my head in after a while, but thought the music was pretty cool consideruing i'm not a trance fan! And when they played Prodigy- take you brain to another dimesnsion (is that what its called?) i nearly wet myself! Back to the apartment at 7.30 where no sleeping was to be done!
Fri 29th- As no sleepin deceided to head to coastline and push on through
so styed there all day (no food, well, a couple of bites of a burger) then it was time for pure pacha. Bob Sinclaire rocked the place with his Africanism set....loved it. Bloody brilliant stuff, the whole club was shaking there ass! Then Pete Tong came on and played some good stuff till about 7.30 when we left. Best Memory of that night was whole club singin Tom Novy- Your Body. FANTASTIC!!!!
Sat 30th- Arose after no sleep again and headed to sun sea for mnore sun and pool fun! Half a pizza eaten headed to HUSH to see a friend DJ...was supposed to be a quiet night with space the next day, but you know how thing so in ibiza.....ended up getting rather wasted till around 6ish.
Sun31st- THE DAY I HAD BEEN WAITING FOR. Awoke very nervous around 12...tried to eat a pizza but was too nervous. Arrived at space around3 to see the new sun terrace bobbing along nicely ( I'M HERE) So off i started on my misssion to enjoy the day! Dancing on the new 'sun terrace' id just like the old terrace but with more room. Remembner them playin Dire Straights- money for nothing Place erupted to the sound of that guitar! Headed to the 'new indoor terrace' about 8 for groove armarda, who were ok, nothing amazin, played some cool trippy house for a while, then boomed at the classics, which the crowd loved. Set could have been batter, but they weren't going to spoil my day in heaven! The new terraces rock like you wouldn't belive and i was blown away yet again by space. This place can do no wrong in my book. Left at 2am feeling very
Monday 1st- DC10 session. Woke feeling like i had been abducted by aeilins...head a complete mess but DC10 beckon arrived at4 with the terrace bouncin. Got completely trashed! The whole club sat down on the dance floor in the middle of Mr C set then all got up and jumped like idiots...BRILLIANT! Stayed till 10.30, then walked to Bora Bora And layed on the sand with some new found friends from DC10, Andy, Tracey, Gemma, Dan etc. Back to savannah lounge till 6am. 15.5 hours later A right mess and time for bed.
Tues 2nd- Complete mess, can't eat or sit in sun....but it was worth it.
Wed 3rd- Fly home
Best time ever in ibiza by far....but can i handle this again
