Trevor's bar - San Antonio bay

Has anyone else ever been here? We stayed in the Bahia hotel in 2003, and this bar is just over the road from it. It's run by a West Ham fan called Trevor, and his family. The bar is brilliant, bottles of Bud for 1.50 euro, and they do the BEST bacon sandwiches in Ibiza. Real English bacon and brown sauce ;)
It's perfect for a breakfast, or somewhere really really cheap to go for a couple of drinks before you start your night.

They also do a pub quiz every night at 11pm which is great fun :D

Jonathan was like Trevor's little protege  They had long chats about Paulo Di Canio, Bobby Moore etc... he's a top geezer :!: :D

Trevor's bar san antonio bay

Trevor & Stu are here at the moment. They had a sale of easter eggs and english goodies today.
Got my supply of english custard powder and mushy peas!!!

Used to go there when staying at a hotel in the bahia area in 2001 i think :D

Damn, whats that hotel called :?: It opened in 2001 and is 4* and quite nice..... :?

Saratoga Bar in the corner of Playabella. Lovely breakfast and the San Mig is cheap as well. The only problem they close about 9.30pm.
PS from my understanding if anyone would like to take over the running of the place.....

the one with mini golf?

also stayed at the bahia. saw an england game there a couple of years back (watched on tv, not the actual game, of course!)

seemed to be geared up for families - a good thing, unless you just wanted to watch the game, in relative pease!

lol

Sorry to bump this topic, from the previous page ... if this is not allowed, pelase inform me otherwise

I was just wondering if its possible to give me general directions to this place, or a basic idea of how to get there, from its description it sounds like a nice little bar..... Even if it is geard up towards families .... im sure me and my mates can act in a respectable manner

close to the Hawaii hotel

walk alongthe promenade from the egg roundaout. it had glassed walled terrace, around the pool.

or take the road that es paradis is on, and turn down the street opposite the minigolf bar (trevors?)

(if you cant see the huge hawaii signage, the its time to go to specsavers!)

a little bird told me that someone nicked trevor's motor from outside the bar last week. police will have a great deal of difficulty tracking down the bright yellow rhd saab convertible with british plates on our enormous island. like a needle in a haystack!

Yup i know trevor...and his son.. me and my m8 dannny and kelk last year spent alot of time there ..i sometimes went on my own while my m8s were asleep (me not havin had any) and had a beer and a chip butty to line my stomach lol..if it wasnt for trevors bar id be even thinner than i already was LOL. the son called stu? he put on a few BBQs 4 us at night just cuz he fancied it LOL..ill be going nxt year but my m8s r goin in a few weeks :( Boo hoo (i wish i was...)

me again0 is trevors open dirung winter months?

thinking of getting away jan/feb. on a budget (if thats posible, nowadays??)

Easyjet don't fly to Ibiza in the winter so check out British Airway's website. The Venus Apartments in San Antonio bay are open all year, there is a link from Ibiza Spotlight's website. They are cheap but nice, clean & spacious.

Did the canary on wheels ever get found?

i saw him only the other day in it and remarked to her indoors that it must have been found.

Insurance job and having pocketed the cash he's brought it back out of the garage? I mean, it's hardly conspicuous by the sound of things.

Btw, how is Marli? The current Mrs B and I would really like a dog and a dalamatian is second only to a chocolate labrador on my wishlist. This future planning as unfortunately we don't have the time to look after one at the mo.

our marli is absolutely fantastic....now.

she is friendly with people, knows how to react to other dogs, likes walks, and can swim!

she has come on in leaps and bounds since we rescued her, and the good news from the vet was that her leishmaniasis is 'controlled' and she doesn't need tablets.

dals, moreso than other dogs, love company and like being around people. you do need to devote lots of time to them to get the best out of them......but it's worth it!

Unfortunately Trevor's bar's main entrance got kind of demolished by looney driver sometime around midnight a couple of weeks ago  (he also took out a taxi and another car - wasn't far from having me and the missus leaving the bar either).

Anyway, don't be put off cos there's no internal damage and the entrance around the side is fine. I think possibly one mini golf hole is out of action though :(

Still the friendliest place around :D
