Travel from Es Canar, Ibiza to the Clubbing spots

Hi there, I am going to Ibiza this sunday!!

I am from the UK and I last went to Ibiza when I was aged 9 in 1997. Now, 14 years later i'm going back aged 23 and able to drink lol. I am taking my girlfriend to Es Canar, where I stayed before.

I know Es Canar is not the clubbing capital, but we wanted a mainly quiet holiday, with the odd night of clubbing madness thrown in. I've looked at going to the Radio 1 weekend in Playa Den Bossa next Friday, but it seems like a bit of a pain to have to make a separate trip to Ibiza town to pick up a free wristband the day before, then try and get to Playa Den Bossa the next day for the radio 1 event.

I want to know how much of a pain this will be to travel from Es Canar.

I've heard taxis are like 35 euro approx from es canar to playa den bossa. Are the buses reliable? Have any of you tried venturing clubbing from es canar before on transport? I'm not sure if they do clubbing excursions.

Anyway can't wait to be in Ibiza this Sunday, I am going to be in Es Canar for a week.
 
Don't know what the price is, but people get taxis all over the island all times of the day and night. I have never been refused anywhere (even the far north).

You hastle will be (and its why I am not a fan of Ibiza from end July to mid-August) actually finding a damn Taxi. However, in the smaller resorts you should be OK - unlike in PDB where you have to queue for miles. Also, getting back from Pacha should not be a problem.

thanks, well sounds like a right pain in the arse, having to get to ibiza town the day before just to get a wristband, then go on dozens of buses for the radio 1 event, i really want to go though, i'll do my best to make radio 1.
 
Just get a taxi, it will be a lot more comfortable.

The bus will be very hot and the journey will involve attract a lot of unwanted aggro (in the heat)

You must have had a bad one ? I often use the bus`s, (Not been on a UK bus for 20 ish years and would not want to) they are safe, Clean, Cool, Good fun, On time usually to the minute and cheep (About 2€ vs 30€ ish for a taxi) You can get to and from Santa Eulalia from most place`s on the island in about an hour at virtually any time of day, then on to es Canar http://www.ibizabus.com/Page27.html or take a taxi for the last few miles if you have to,

ps Try the disco bus @ about 5am just for the experience :D

all the buses in ibiza are comfortably air conditioned these days
 
The Disco bus usually even has it`s own dedicated "Spontaneous spew mopper" On one occasion I saw it caught before hitting the floor :D

Spontaneous spew mopper : If you look carefully you will see them all over the busy spots, clubs & bars usually towards toilet area, They are the people quietly out the way with a mop and bucket ready to clean up any mishaps that do occur, They work hard July and Aug lol, bung em a few € if you can
