Travel Agent or Do it yourself

Looking to head to Ibiza for the first time. I'm coming from USA. For anyone who has been before is it easier to have an agent hook everything up or can you get more by doing it yourself
 
Depending on the amount of people going i would do it myself if there was up to about 4 people anything over that stick with a travel agant
 
We booked everything ourselves. Hotel Atzaro through Ibiza-Spotlight and airline through Priceline. Comparable would have been $500 more going through a travel agent.
