Transformers Movie

effects were a bit too much. just a big metallic mess.

hated the story (was there one?)

too many "plotlines" nothing gelled, nothing explained.

and sam wickeygrub annoyed the **** outta me.:spank:

That kid was truly annoying
(the girl was hot though )

The plot (what there was of it) was convuluted as hell.

I thought the problem weren't the effects but the typical Michael Bay "fast & furious action" lame-ass way of handling everything.

Not enough time spent with the Decepticons either. Starscream basically a cameo!

"fast & furious action"

to the point where yr eyes are constantly adjusting, and end up not looking at anything but a grey blur!

the sam character in the comics (yes i bought them) was not annoying at all, just in awe of the transformers.

no soundwave, no prowl, and starscream just appears half way through. wtf!

Haven't been on this site in a while, but felt compelled to give my take on this movie. First of all, let me premise my rant with I HATE MICHAEL BAY MOVIES!!! There was no storyline, all CGI action. I have to admit, there were some pretty cool scenes, but overall OVERKILL!!! I knew it spelled trouble at the beginning of the movie when Prime was narrating how Transformers came to be, and then it went straight to a Bad Boys or Armageddon type dialogue. Would have liked to see more about how the transformers came to be, how they actually waged a war between the Autobots and Decepticons, and then had a minimal amount of action on earth. There was a lot of far-fetched things in the movie, and i didn't really care for the little Japanese robot. I pretty much got hosed.

/rant over

stateside unfortunately. no big trips for me this year, unfortunately. even turned down a free ticket to Burning Man w/ the lovely Pacha Girl.

I have been a real homebody lately.

Colorado is hot, but went up to the mountains last weekend. 11,000 feet, you get really cooled off!!!
