At least from my perspective here in Switzerland it feels like especially young people ~16-20 tend to listen to hard techno, goa and stuff (if they even listen to electronic music). Some festivals that used to invite more melodic and House DJs some years ago now tend to book more and more harder acts, like 'I hate models', '999999999', 'Charlotte de Witte', 'Deborah de Luca' (last two already feel very mainstream) and so on. Also Trance seems to have a comeback.
And then of course the likes of Adriatique, Solomun, the Afterlife crew and also some live (singing) acts like Monolink, Jan Blomqvist, WhoMadeWho, Joplyn and so on feel popular. Classic/funky house seems to be getting more and more niche. So, no Defected or similar label parties like some years ago. Some labels like keinemusik, Katermukke, Stil vor Talent, ... (luckily) have regular label parties too, at least in Zurich, but probably still a bit smaller than others. To me it feels like the keinemusik crue released some ear worms like The Church, Discoteca, 2000, Forms Of Love, ... that felt like summer anthems to me even if some of them couldn't be played when released due to C. So that pandemic might have had a big impact, too, the last three years.
And like

Let's hope for better times - at least if it comes to summer anthems
Edit: And I forgot: Also it feels like in the last ~10 years many other spots in the world got very big and influential electronic music scenes or seasons, like Tulum, Amsterdam, Barcelona, Croatia, Buenos Aires, (Berlin) ... and then there's 'Cercle' doing popular stuff around the world with big names of the scene and so on. So it's like 'summer' the whole year and so much influence from everywhere
