i would say Hawtin is one of the most in demand dj's on the planet just now and also done a world tour as Plastikman...surely he would make the top 30...

How is it possible to intuit a crowd if you're masturbating over them from a VIP booth? This passive view of music creates fads, genres and puts the entire scene in retrograde. I want to be surprised, not have stupid buzz terms like EDM and minimal shoved down my throat by gurning journos and record execs. (& how many of these 'superstars' are female?)'

Only 2 Million $ needed to make in the list?

Sven Väth must have had that amount of money allready 15 years ago.

With all the cocoon stuff he has going on today it must be much higher now.

There must be so many DJ's having more then 1 Million $.
You allready need more then 1 Million to get a small villa in IBIZA. And there are a couple of DJ's having one in IBIZA and MIAMI at the same time.
 
Also, Oakenfolds empire is all but gone now. No way is he still worth that much.

His label is owned by Armin's label, (ARMADA), he doesn't pull in the kind of crowds he used to either, so the fee he commands for his DJ gigs will have (surely) gone down.

I've seen plenty of Villas in Ibiza going for a lot less than that. What do DJs do most of the time...they're on tour. Very few will own an expensive property in somewhere like Miami or Ibiza, they'll just rent.

Armada will have had to pay a fair whack for his label. Plus who's to say he hasn't invested all of his cash over the years and made even more that way?

As said though there are no official sources so who knows if it's anywhere close to being correct.
 
No Danny Tenaglia, his loft in NY is worth a couple of million $ and he has been around for decades.

Plus the figures are all nice round numbers, it seems like total guess work!
 
This is totally irrelevant to clubbing and also dj's / agents are very secretive about fee's for gigs which will be based on hearsay and also fee's go up and down depending on gigs.

People's perception of the dance industry being like a Forbes list is mildly concerning.
