Top 10 veteran DJs still worth the ticket price

One huge omission - John Digweed. One of the hardest working and most consistent DJs out there. Eternally damned to be undervalued by his peers, a bit like someone who joined a firm as a tea boy and rose to Senior Management :!: Saw him 3 times this Summer. Every time he delivered 100%.

spot on mate! Easily one of the best British Dj's by a country mile. Still love his essential mix live from the Warehouse project a few years back. Contains about a 30min slot of some of the best music i have ever heard in 20 years of clubbing....Even after buying all the tracks i've never got it to sound like he does in that mix!!!8)

A few years ago definitely, but I don't think he's into it these days.

He seems happy playing the hits now. I wouldn't pay to see him play this music -

 - nearly everyone bar the die-hard Techno purists played it as the Summer wore on - from Mr C in Shoreditch & Fabric to Carl Cox& Sven in Ibiza ! It kind of became a hit as a result .. had heard it dropped so often in the end it just got boring through over-exposure and dubious placement in DJ sets.

Sven has had his ups & downs big time with some very self-indulgent sets in recent years but also some corkers. Word (whatever that is !) seems to be that on the whole he was much better this Summer. Nevertheless not much +ve feedback about his recent performance at BerMuDa in Berlin so guess you don't always get the best out of SV :!:

I can't say anything about his ability to rock the crowd - had some amazing nights with sven on the decks. His tune selection is poor these days though - too much boring underground house for my liking...

all these "top ten veteran djs" are too fat, too big and too boring...and these monsterpartys with 1000+ people.....no good vibe...
only two(+1) are really nice...carl cox and richie.... carl cox, the right crowd and :twisted:party:twisted:, he is wonderfull and can play every kind of music and it rocks....richie, mhh....u must like his music but dj god!!
(+1) sven väth....yes he is a dj but not more. today he play sets like everyone, but he is an entertainer and he is "halt der babba" :D

i hope u understand what i wanne say, my english is not the best :)
