yeah cruise well put him in his place, what a nice guy tom cruise is making peoples lives better with his work, and how does humanity repay him? doing the nastiest thing ever.... spraying him with water.
 
I have to admit it was a pretty childish gesture. Imagine if someone did that to Russell Crowe?! They wouldn't live to tell.

I found immature amusement over it however, because I am SO SICK AND TIRED of seeing him and Katie Holmes using every media outlet to profess their undying love for each other. I mean, BARF. I'm happy for them, but its crazy overkill.

And isn't it rather "coincidental" that they both decided to announce an engagement, while she has a blockbuster hit that just came out and he has one on the way? Um, PUBLICITY... I mean who am I to judge, its just the feeling I get. :roll:

ps. Like I said, you can't go by anything that the media says... but if many stories I have read/seen are true, then Tom isn't exactly a "nice guy..." he is an egomaniacal, superficial a$$hole in my opinion. Doesn't stop me from watching his movies though... GREAT actor

Let`s forget about wether we like or dislike Tom.The question we need to ask is how far removed is such an action from the act of "happy slapping"?There was a camera, an assault (water maybe but it could have been acid etc), and an audience who were keen to view.Such actions cannot be encouraged, especially by a major TV channel as that would surely be hypocritical? :roll:
