It's not so different from 2011 but pains me to see someone such as Prydz mixed in with all the other muck they're peddling this year. I guess he isn't running it anymore?

Maybe I'm getting old. Or maybe he didn't sell enough tickets :(

Still annoyed his 7 hour set / Sasha got pulled for Dubstep / D&B last year and that the "full" (techno) closing party lineup never went ahead.

It's a weird mish-mash of styles again. I wouldn't go to any of the nights they've listed - despite decent inclusions like Public Enemy I'd rather see them in the daytime somewhere other than Amnesia, and certainly not surrounded by pseudo-Satan Worshippers (sorry .. Skrillex fans) :!:

The whole thing is aimed at the very young market. Wonder how much they're charging for a glass of milk ?

Yeah Prydz is surrounded by ****e if you ask me. I wanna go for Prydz but would rather not hear the heavy metal crap the other guys play.

Heavy Metal? Haha

The names up alongside Prydz each week are not heavy metal and will provide more than ample support.
If you're referring to Skrillex as Heavy metal then just don't go in the main room...

Times and tastes change and move on , markets are driven by younger clientelle , this happens all around us so its no surprise unfortunately. and yes we are getting old

Yeah Skrillex is more or less electronic screamo/heavy metal. Just a weird pairing. The main room is one thing. Openers of the week I'll be there include Aoki and Annie Mac....I mean that's horrible.

I am destined to never see Eric Prydz (who I love). He didn't show for Wild in the Country a few years back. The set times were wrong when he was on at Glasto the other year and then I've missed him twice at the Warehouse in Manchester by partying a bit too hard the night before. Not going to waste a precious Ibiza night to go to this as he'd be the only person I'd want to see

Seen Eric Prydz the last 2 years in ibiza, and 4 times in the Uk in the last 18 months. incredible. my personal favourite DJ/producer.
and im going to miss him in ibiza this year as im out there 2nd-12th august.

could he be at radio one weekend?
fingers crossed.
:D

Prydz is also my favourite dj/producer - and i fear that those Prydz fans that are lucky enough to be in ibiza for one of the weeks that he is there will be put off by all the dnb/dubstep on that night. When i went to Prydz last year in July, the main room was about 50% capacity. I can see it being worse this year. I would have said swapping Calvin Harris at Cream with Prydz at Together would work better.

i agree, i went to "Tonight" at amnesia last year in august when his exclusive 7 hour set/sasha was switched literally last minute, and i think it was Andy C and joker put into the main room. So disappointing as the club was literally only half full which affected the atmosphere.

I think that mix of music really put people off.

My friend however, who likes Andy C, was over the moon with the switch.

oh, and the reason prydz is only there on those dates is because thats all he could commit to doing.

(Together commented on my facebook comment when they anounced the line up)

Skrillex is very popular amongst very young adults/ students while I find fewer listen to house and techno. Having Eric prydz on a night with Skrillex will allow them to explore other avenues of music which will aid them in their transition toward something more palatable as they get older.

So Prydz is basically there to 'groom' youngsters into liking 'proper music' ?
