all still going strong, ricky still in ok, phil still has tiffanys, but has taken a back seat to spend a little time with his new baby, and andy(ex rosalia hotel) is managing it now.. and I am on my 17th summer running the pink panther..look forward to see you in a couple of weeks xxx:lol:

Thanx sue

Begonia n Phil always graft hard - Andy finally left Rosalia then ? too many nights !!!! heard from adele @travelshop Phil had good housewarming party ! never got me invite...
Have you named anymore cocktails after ibizaspotlight punters ?? look forward to tasting em !

phil

phil and begiona have just taken on another small bar called cartegas..for working daytimes ... only 5 min walk from tiffanys xxx i might have to devise a ibiza lion cocktail...something to make you roar:lol:

Tiffanys crowd

Cheers Sue - i take it Cartegas is China Chris's bar ? Think they refurbed it as grand prix bar ??? Not sure if the old crowd "auntie" etc still knocking around - heard chris got bullet from Ibiza sun ? R u still gonna run the karaoke ? Digging out old photos , dodgy haircuts and glazed eyes..

nice lil bar tiffanys spec for the start of it night or the end of a night, i remember last year after carring my mate 2 hes apartment opposite going in there 4 a quickie to find out someone been stabbed or something blood on the walls. Phil looked very shaken up as did the poor bloke at the bar his 1st time in there after asking ppl for a nice lil quiet bar, aparlenty he never came back after that night

Tiffanys - lol

Yes m8 - heard it got a bit hairy - Phil always helps out , sometimes it gets nasty but he will always back a gallant cause !! Looking 4ward to a few pints in may and popping over to sue @ the pink panther 4 suitable mind blowing cocktail - absinthe included ???

old china

yes the very same cartegas, phil has made it look very nice now, i just spoke to phil and andy today , they are planning on opening tiffanys next week  see you in a couple of weeks lion for a cocktail8)

I went to the Pink Panther in 1990 8O

Also remember 'Tin Pan Alley' where they would play the bottles on the back of the bar in tune to Chubby Checker & The Fat Boys - The Twist

Not forgetting the legendary smash of a metal tray for the cymbal crash!

1990

that was my first summer in pink panther:lol: tin pan alley was great place, ian the manager moved a couple of years later and took over sgt peppers 2 in the bay, where he is still playing the bottles now

remember "lucky joe's sports bar" is that the right name??:? or was it uncle joe's?? was it even a sports bar??

all i remember is they opened at 8am and needless to say it was dead!

Back in 97,98 Tiffanys used to be a regular port of call of ours at the end of a night , cos we stayed i nthe Poniente right facing it. Many a time fell asleep in one of there late night pizzas! Great memories of that place. there was another bar round the corner called Bar Euro (facing the Tomas Bar I think) that was open late that we used to frequent late on too.

holy joes

holy joes was a sports bar , but it only did 2 seasons then was changed into donnegans.. next door to bucaneero.. it stills opens for breakfast tho8O

Yep he certainly does help out even though he was shaken up after, pizza's r always nice in there looking forward to having a few in sept weather be at the start or the end of the night

Tiffanys - september

I love ibiza in september - kids / familys gone back and looking 4ward to closing parties - in fact anyone reading this in the uk might do worse then go in may/june/july/september - avoid august like the plague - full of italians and far to expensive for a brit family - may / early june you still get quality and top weather but without the margate experience and a week for around £500 a week instead of £900 which is a total rip off- thank god for the likes of the Pink Panther , Tiffanys , OK Corral etc .

i stay in gran sol a lot, always pop into tiffanys before/after a night out in san an

i also remember a place next to the poniente about 97 run by two dodgy geezers from london.

they used to get girls to lean backwards upside down from the upstairs balcony whilst doing a shot.... on the pretence of it being a drinking game.....and then look up their skirts..... nice.

I know were you mean - it was a small bar between Poniente and es calo playa hotels, they used to have pictures of there 'conquests' on the walls!

Conquests....

Yes Poniente was always naughty and the lads round the corner had the summer of their lives - remember i had a dabble - thanks to tiffanys for the 6am drink ...then the beach...ahem...
