Tiesto only doing 1 show in Ibiza in 2006!!!!!!!

Well the residency is over for Tiesto at Cream Amnesia. He's only going to be on the island once and that is August 12 for Radio 1 Weekend. He says he wants to do more dates around the world. Sucks for me as I'm there at the end of June. The worst thing for me now would be if he came to Edmonton when I was in Ibiza so I would miss him double-time :evil: At least I get PVD at Cream. Woulda been cool to see Tiesto again though.

Oh well wern't a fav of his anyway but gutted i'm going to miss PVD over there think ill just goto Armarda insted unless theres a decent house line up for the Terrace at Cream.
 
I guess if you like your trancey pants.. like I said in the other thread..

Don't worry, fellow deadmontonian, you're not missing anything by missing any club event in Edmonton.. even if you sit in your hotel room in Ibiza and listen to your ipod, it will be more exciting than a night at the Standard:)
 
this year, just 7 visits by PvD and just one visit from tiesto...

so who will be there on the other nights @ cream @ amnesia?! :?:

Hope, Paul Oakenfold wll be there together with PvD.

I would guess Oakenfold too, which really sucks two fold for me. One, I hate him so much, most overrated DJ ever. Second, everyone else likes him so it'll be super super busy if he's there with PVD that night. Doh!!

my first time to ibiza, and i wanted to see tiesto, i know hes not the best live dj for trance and whatnot, but he is still one of my favs and he is tiesto. whatever tho, goin to see armin van buuren april 14th, in vancouver, any1 here too?

Last time I was at Cream in 2004 it was announced that Tiesto, PvD and PO should be there... And then in the main area of Amnesia were flyers that Tiesto could not come because of a middle ear infection.

It was the best Cream @ Amnesia I ever had. Oakey was rocking the floor, it was awesome!

So I´m not worry, that Tiesto won´t be there.

For all who are sad: Don´t be worry, you´ll def have a awesome night there!!! You won´t miss Tiesto for just one minute!

not happy everything is going on that week and my other half is out there then


i hope something picks up though
i wanted to see any of these :

have a look on the hp of pvd, you´ll see all dates for Paul on the White Isle this summer
Armin will be there from the 11th July til August (I think every second tuesday)

I think this a good thing, maybe time for another DJ to stamp their mark on Cream, before PVD and Tiesto dominated the reasons to go their, i think both are overated, Marco V, Ferry Corsten and Eddie Halliwell do it for me coz they play more varied stuff rather than 'taking you on journey' rubbish

If you'll see Judgey, you'll see Corsten as I'm assuming that he'll be the rezzie at Judgement Sundays again, which is honestly one of the best nights on the island.
 
was also there in 2004 when PvD, Oakie and Tiesto were meant to play same night, still think it was bollocks about the ear infection more like they thought they'd jus use it to sell more tickets without telling anyone he wouldnt be there
 
Would be good if they did a "Tiesto in concert" at Privilige for the radio 1 weekend. Really hope the Essential mix as at Privilige this year as it is the biggest club on the island. Been at Essential mixes at Amnesia & Pacha and they were far to crammed.

my experiance with Tiesto,
2004 ear infection (BS!!)
2005 spined for less than 45 then left.. DJ Montana took over.. HE WAS 100 times better than Tiesto
2006 not interested to check out that airhead lol
 
Point taken - I was also at Amnesia the night of the "ear infection" but I think it would be a majot coup for radio 1 if they were to get him for the essential mix considering he is only playing in Ibiza once the whole season. I am the first to admit he can be cheese on toast but he is still one of the worlds most popular DJ's and it would be great to see him in a main room the size of Priviliges for the Radio 1 weekend ( if it is there as im hearing Space is rumoured again )

ferry corsten is playing cream@amnesia a lot this year:D
