Tiesto - Brixton

Fot those who love Tiesto and Belgium is not to far....

I thought he was really good and played much better music than when i saw him in Ibiza last year. Alot of people on another forum thought it was poor. there were a few negatives about the event:

1) Far far too hot!!!!! Could barely breathe at one point.
2) 30min queue at the bar at most points in the night.
3) Bass too loud so vocals or tune was distorted.
4) This is being picky - but there were no lasers. At a trance event lasers are as essential as the dj himself/herself.
 
Ive only ever been to one clubbing event in Brixton Academy,
and it was poor.

That place simply ISNT meant to be a club, its meant to be live band venue. Not sure why promoters keep insisting in putting club nights there.
 
i didn't think it was too bad as a venue, similar to the que club in birmingham i think, but what is it with no air con AT ALL? i felt like i was dancing in a full ski suit at midday on Bora Bora. If i'd been prepared and dressed accordingly i would have been ok - but i wore jeans and boots and that was NOT a good idea!
