Thunder storms and heavy rains in Ibiza.

Anybody else experience the storms on Ibiza, early Thursday Morning (5 Aug) at about 3.00 am. The main road of the West End was turned into a dirty river. With a number of beer boys and girls swimming down it or floating down on lilo's. People were walking around totally drenched.

The whole tnimg was very amusing.

Did anybody else experience it at other parts of the island, e.g Sunset strip, Ibiza Town.

apparently it only rained in the north-west of the island!!

i was there walking down the west end had to run to burger king. it was the same the week before we left the water party at es paradise and it was pissin it down when we got out.

yes I was there, running a bit late for Subliminal and got caught...ended up in some dodgy bar near the West End waiting for it to clear, when we got 500 metres from Pacha, it only had a few drops of rain

that happened to us 2 years ago, it was pandemonium, the streets turned into a river within 5 minutes!!

Is it just me or has the weather been particularly cack this year - more so then usual?! Our first four days or so of our holiday this year it rained and was over-cast! Didn't spoil it though!! 8)

I arrived the 24th July for 2 weeks and every day was boiling hot and only 2 nights of rain on both wednesdays apparently they were having a heat wave aswell during the first few days i was there. god how i miss it now

I went to Subliminal that night in an unlicenced cab and skidded all over the road. My friends got a lift in a camper van and had to sit on cooker. It was classic!

sounds like i had a result as i was out for a week beginning the 16th...

I also experienced those talked about rain and storms late at night on the 4th of August. I was just about to enter Meganite @ Privilege. Luckily we parked our car very close to the entrance and didn't get all soaked while running inside.

yes i was there haveing a drink in costline before pacha it was amazing looking at that comming in from the sea
