yea hwell its the VERY first time I have seen a party calendar without the manu word there.....the most wanted nite could be good!

it's very worrying.

But we all know that Manu's disorganised PR/nature of the party is part of the charm

Its when we see something else in the monday slot at priv we need to worry!

Its not M & C's style to just abandon ship tho is it? They would announce their last year so everyone had the chance to go for a last time... unless the local government have pissed them off by imposing the closing time restrictions last year.

But lets not forget that while Manu is a fantastic party it is also a multi-million pound money spinner so why would they stop it? also, Manumission is their baby, they don't need to be in the shows but they still do...

Am i trying to convince myself or are these valid points people?
 
To be honest I don't care either way if Manumission is @ Privilege, it's got steadily worse over the years, the music is never up too much these days unless you get really lucky and the crowd is basically a Club 18-30 night out. Maybe Mike and Claire didn't like the way the night was going cos if that was my night I'd wonder what the funk went wrong :?

I will be disappointed if there is no Manumission Carry On @ Space tho cos that recreates the old Manumission vibe a 1000x more than Manumission on a Monday night does now.
 
perhaps its something to do with the talks with Amnesia...

...if the reports are to be believed they had serious talks with Amnesia and the switch was only not done cos of Amnesias commitment to Cocoon....

..this might have pissed off Privilege's management

Manumission isn't all about the music... if you go there just for the music then you may be disappointed.

Why don't people see it for what it is? Something so unlike everything else that is a night out once or twice a year.

I love the place, have done for years, will do til the day it closes. Maybe this year, maybe in another 5.

I agree with you Barbie the clientele has changed over the last couple of years. Twentys and 18-30s need to stop doing their coach trips. That kind of people dont like it, they moan about the prices and dont enjoy what was for a long time the best thing on the island in my opinion.

I agree with your comments about the space carry on... seemed better than ever this year... but space is all change as well this year. The club scene in ibiza is all change at the moment and not everyone is going to be pleased... whatever happens

Manumission in its present form has had its day, in the last few years there is so much more competition on the island and imo they haven't moved with the times.
 
ahh robo you mentioned somewhere else you were sure they will be back with their circus. I hope cuz we are taking a bunch of Ibiza newbies to the Island this year, and I really wanna show them the show
