I woke up this morning before my alarm went off, I thought it was really early, about 3am, because when I looked out the window, the sky was dark, cloudy, not much light etc. Only to my horror did I realise that it was actually 7.30am!! It looked sooooo gloomy outside, like it was winter :evil:

What is going on with this weather? The forecast for today is torrential storms and hail in the South! They've put out a sever flood warning too 8O Considering last year we had an absolute scorching summer.. when is it going to change :spank::(
 
Apparently you guys are going to get several hours of torrential rain and thunderstorms according to BBC news last night - I felt quite sorry for the South on seeing that last night - we just get the usual grey, dull, half rain, half humid type weather - I hate this Summer with a passion !!! :twisted:

:oops::oops::oops: I really did get the wrong impression about Global Warming, I had visions of having to spend May - Sept living in shorts and a bikini top with factor 15 on every time you stepped outside the door.....

How wrong could a person get.... :oops::oops::oops:
 
Looks like it'll be full Glasto kit required for Lovebox.

Seriously though, this is really starting to wierd me out. It's going to be like an 18 month Dec-Jan period, but with only 2 Christmas's :spank:

Exactly! I've been spraying a can of deoderant into the air and leave my car running on the driveway every night to do my bit for Britains climate.

And how's about this for a thought - if they'd have called it Global-Pissing-It-Down instead of Global-Warming, how much easier would it be to make people change their ways?! I'd have changed my lightbulbs yonks ago! :lol:
 
its making me rethink my previous "Ibiza will not happen this year" statement

starting to think that even if all i could afford was to fly over and sit on a beach for 7 days it'd be better than being here

Yeah but, no but, yeah but that was like, a month ago!! I didn't realise then that it would last this long :evil: Even I'm depressed now :spank::(
 
Ditto this weather is 2 bob....I thought I could leave Ibiza out this year but if this crap continues I may squeeze it in for a week just to get some blue skies and SUNSHIIIINNNNEEEEE.....
 
That rain was forking outragous, my roof sprung about 5 leaks, there's shops on the New Kings Rd with 4 foot of water in their basements!!

it's been absolutely pissing it down from the moment I woke up this morning. My shoes are wet and I've not been able to go out for lunch.

Apparently 2 months worth in a day in some regions!

Glad I didn't pack my shorts for lovebox tomorrow :lol::lol:
 
Sorry people, but Hamburg is absolut lovely today (and the last two weeks)

The sun is shining and is really beautiful ...... :) in some hours I will drive to the Beachclub at the Elbe (it sounds Cafe del Hamburg :?) and drinking a cocktail ;)

..... I just feel cheated to be honest.......

Going to change all my lightbulbs back, start putting all my electrical appliances on standby again, and consider buying a 4 wheel drive....
 
Hmnn.. I've been waking up at 6:00 to bright sunshine every morning for the past 2 weeks.. been up above 30 every day... except today might be chilly.. it might go down to 27 or 28.. :)
