Uh... Not sure, actually. If I have it, it's on my home computer because it's not on this one at work (though the mix itself is ;))

Waw, you really have talent chewie_oo7 ! Any particular software you're using for
syncing your mixes or is this just 'live' recorded ?

Cheers mate !

all done live using 2 x numark Axis 2 CDs and Pioneer DJM600.

Recorded using Final Vinyl on a G4 Powerbook.

;)

Nice mix....:D

Can you answer a quick "teccy" question based on your Numark experiences.......
If you're using Numarks, presumably you're using a few CDR's along the way?

Which are the best CDR's you've found (for burning on to) to eliminate skipping of the CDR during playback?

Tell you why I ask if it helps the question - I've got a couple of Axis 9's - When I record to CDR from t'internet / PC etc - (at high bit rate & slowest burn speed possible) the music "skips" from time to time (with our without trying to use any of the Numark effects....) suring playback....

Cheers for any advise you have - Ive been told to use the CDR's with platinum burn surface instead of the silver... make sense?

aint really had any probs with cds skipping... although when i burn them, i make sure the computer isnt doing any other tasks (have had some skip when i know ive been burning/doing other stuff at the same time.

maybe try burning at a slower speed? 8-16x?

CDs i use are usually imation or Datawrite ones, and i have no idea between silver and platinum cd surfaces!

Thanks for the info.... Appreciate the "experienced" feedback...

I read that cheap "multipack discs" often were not the best quality for burning onto, certainly for playback (Platinum or Silver coated discs are regarded by some as superior quality, though I haven't tried them yet) - I might try imation or Datawrite before splashing out on the more expensive....

Hopefully the "do nothing else when burning" option might work too....

Back to trial and error until I find the right combination....

If anyone else (with experience with this particular issue) has any ideas, please PM me...

Apologies for hi-jacking the thread....

Get Sony cds!!! And like Chewie said write at a low speed.

It's worth paying a little more for decent quality cdrs. You can get 50 for £9.99 with free delivery from hmv.co.uk

Thanks again - My burner can write anything from x1 to x52
I have tried all settings slow to fast (preference on the slow) with issues still, so I'm going to try different discs - Thanks for the tip on Sony. :D
