hey all,popped my ibiza cherry 2yrs ago and loved every min of it! mates are all skint or otherwise engaged this year and dont want to miss out 2 yrs in a row so thinkin of heading on my own in june. not sure if this is a good idea though so hoping there might be a few people in the same position that might want to party as a group, if so reply...cheers :D
 
Quite a few people there in June... I'm out 11th - 18th. Ibiza is very do-able on your own, even without meeting Spotlighters.

yeah,id say im gonna get it booked shortly mate,stayed in san an last time but we went to bora bora a couple of the days so was thinking on staying there this time,accommodation one your own seems to be a bit of a prob.whats ur recommendation?
 
Playa sol 2 in figueretus is quite cheap bit dated but clean place to stay literally on the edge of playa den bossa. Also very near to hotel es vive which is a great place to visit day and night ( non hotel guests welcome ) expensive to stay but they have single room occupancy . Hotel Garbi is a great hotel in playa den bossa close to sankeys . And jet is the well known party hotel , bound to meet people there ! Or you could get a small mortgage and stay at Ushuaia ! Which is opposite space.....
 
I'm staying at the Poseidon I apartments which is the Figuertas side of PDB. £136 for 6 nights, would've been even cheaper if I hadn't wanted a room with a sea view.

Got no idea if it's any good, but I'm not overly bothered for a short stay and at those prices, this is just a cheap(ish) getaway. There 15-21 June.
 
This is the first time I'm doing it as well, it wouldn't have crossed my mind a year or 2 ago but it seems everyone I know is getting married or pregnant, or is holding off til we go as a group in September. I know 1 or 2 getting there a few days after me but this is really a solo trip. I've never failed to meet decent people in Ibiza when we've been as a group so I can't see why this will be any different this time.
 
I'd go for PDB (or Figueretas), though better to book accomodation further in advance (more choice/better prices!). I got Hotel Club Mare Nostrum for £226 for 7 nights, which was the cheapest I could find. Would love to know how Jack got his price - that is cheap!
 
Found it on Travel Republic, it's not there now though for those dates so I guess it sold quickly. Got lucky with the timing.

I've been looking at Mare Nostrum for September as the Jabeque is looking more expensive this year. You stayed there before JV?
 
Yeah, stayed at the Mare Nostrum last September. It's a nice hotel, very well located. I'm happy to stay there again, though TBH I just go for the cheapest in the area I'm wanting as I only use it for sleeping!
