Think of going solo 29/6-5/7.

Same as last year i'm thinking of going Ibiza for my birthday (the big 30). If i go it will be on my own this time, most of my mates are going Glastonbury so won't be looking to go Ibiza straight after. I know there a lot of people who go solo on here, just wanted to know whats peoples general thoughts on going solo.
Also is anybody out there the same dates?
 
I'm doing the same but a week after, 12th-16th. 30 this year and all my friends are coupled up/ not their scene. I haven't been alone before but am happy in my own company so it doesn't bother me too much. I ummed and ahhhhed about it then just thought f*ck it. I don't want to miss out!
 
yeah i'm more than happy with my own company to be honest. not been out raving on my own before which i think will be interesting but the more i think about it the more i think i'm going to get it booked. are you planning on smashing it while there or just have a chilled one?

I'll be there 15-19. I never have enough girlfriends to hang out with
 
First part has just been booked Mare Nostrum 29/6-5/7, no just got to book the flight but fingers crossed i might be able to get this booked for me as a 30th present.

I hadn't really thought about it yet, I'm kind of waiting until the line ups are all out before I commit to anything! I'll be fine in the big clubs I think but would like to meet some people to eat/ drink at the bars with. If not I'll survive! Pretty easy to please to be honest and I just love the atmosphere.

Thank you! Unfortunately I apparently had a blonde moment, I'm not there the following week. I'm there the following month... :oops: *off to check I've actually booked leave/ flights/ hotel at the same time...*
 
Haha Sophie I would double check everything.
I've just seen that Dixon is Solomuns +1 on 5/7 looks like I might be staying until the Monday now.

Yeh the problem with me booking on a whim is I'm there Weds-Sun am which means I miss all the best nights including Solomun +1! Hey ho... I'm sure I will make my own fun :D
 
Yeah there is a club night I would go to every night of the week so I'm sure you'll have plenty of fun, as will I hopefully
 
I'll be in town 29/6 - 3/7, unfortunately just missing Solly +1 with Dixon but will almost certainly be hitting Cocoon, Paradise opening, Enter opening if interested in meeting up for some partying
 
Hello - Im going with my sister 29/6 to 4/7 (for my 30th). First time in Ibiza, is there anything that is a MUST DO while we are there? its a late flight over on the Monday but is it worth getting into San Antonio then heading all the way over to space for Ferry Corsten??
 
:)Hi weegem, I am a relative newcomer to Ibiza too so I will let the others recommend the must sees and dos. All I will say is Ibiza is a small island and it doesn't take long at all to get from San Antonio to Playa D'en Bossa. The discobus runs all night and is a few euros or a taxi is pretty cheap too. Oh, and Space is always worth going to :)
 
Yes Chris defo up for meeting. still need to book my flight though haha. enter opening 100%, might go hyte on wednesday but depends on line up, going off paradise opening line up from last year i could well be up for that.
 
Hi all, I am also travelling solo and want to do Cocoon and Enter opening parties... Who's with me #chrisandben. Ps I get mixed reports... Ibiza Town or Playa Den Bossa for accomodation?

Ben, I've never been to Ibiza on my own but when I'm actually out there I do loads on my own, including big nights out. Would have bothered me a few years ago but I don't think twice about it now. I'd still always prefer to go on a holiday with friends, but this year I'm probably going on my own for the first time. It'll be fine, I've no doubt.

I'm probably out there from July 7th/8th-11th. That match up with you?

Probably Playa d'en Bossa - more of a resort. Figueretas is between Ibiza Town and PdB and is another option, but PdB is lively and right on the beach.
