Things that are better than they used to be....

A chance to tell the world what you think has improved about Ibiza over the years.

A starter for me is flights.

For years the only option I had was from Glasgow at 12pm on a Sunday night going there and coming back (I stay in Edinburgh)

I now have a decent choice of flights from Edinburgh and friends can also come across for the weekend. As for times, I can get a flight at 8am and have my first drink in Ibiza at 12. Coming back I can get up and catch the flight back at 12 noon and be back home for dinner.

1. motorway, even though everyone whinged.
2. bus station in san an
3. car parking in ibiza town
4. facilities outside airport
5. ibiza sun newspaper, finally gone digital.

I don't know if this is a good thing or not?

CHOICE

There is so much to choose from now. In the old days, if it was say Manumission night, then that was it, thats where everyone went.

Love the Ibiza Sun, great that I can read it on my iPad so agree.

Also the Costa Coffee at the airport, the Mrs grabs us a coffee while I run to the multi story and get the car. Love that!

Probably a bad thing for me.

Probably a bad thing for me.

Yeah, I know.

It was almost as if they were saying " This is it, this is your night" and you put the trust in the promoter and DJ. Now, well F2ck me, I'm spoilt for choice. Now its a toss up between whats going to be successful an whats not. Decisions, decisions.

It is probably better if you are going for a short time as there will always be something on (weekend clubbers)

The amount of gas-stations. Today you have 24/7 access to gas. 25 years ago there were only a handful on the Island, more closed than open and on Sundays only one for the entire island.

San An Bay.

Decided to spend a night over here and was really surprised how nice its looking now. New bars popped up which are a credit to the area.

Mystic Meg over says give it 5 years (and a bit of development on that old bull bar fair ground) and I reckon its going to be a go to spot for the young ones.

Always stay in San An Bay, doesn't attract the same kind of scum as San An mainland, great views across the harbour, and only a 5 min boat ride over the bay if you decide you want the San An decadence come night-time.

Yean the Bay is going to be the new great place in Ibiza i think.

Other things that are better are the airport and buses.

... Costa Coffee at the airport ...

You know you're in Ibiza
when Even Costa coffee has a DJ

Tbf the motorway seemed excessive at the time and it was a bit dodge how the contract went to the Matutes clan when Stella Matutes was in the top job BUT admitedly with traffic on the island as it is now it is absolutely necessary. They really need to sort out the bottleneck at Santa Eulalia too.
