Great film, though David Lynch *is* completely bonkers. If you think MD is odd, try watching Eraserhead...

I'll let him off being a total nutter though on account of Twin Peaks. I still have dreams about Audrey  .

The strangest film I've ever seen, and believe me, was: Salò o le 120 giornate di Sodoma (in english: Salo, or The 120 Days of Sodom)...

it was so ill....i was nearly runing out of the cinema cause i had to barf...

MD - first half is Naomi Watts characters dream of a perfect life, the second half is her reality

take that and add in several doses of weird shit and you are in Lynchland.

Eraserhead might just take the oddest film title - esp the head-popping scene

For me it has to be

Welcome to Woop Woop

its an australian film that i saw when on tour there in 2000 and left me laughing but completely baffaled at the same time :?

Yep agreed - I couldnt look at a cooked bird on a plate for a long long time afterwards......... I was so sure it was gonna more around....

This film was like a very disturbing trip......... :?

The minute I saw the title of this thread, I immediately thought 'Mullholland Drive' myself!

Felt rather pleased with myself that I was following everything, until the last ten minutes when everything just went crazy. Good film, though. And I adore that version of 'Crying'.

weirdest movie ive seen in the last few years has to be Donnie Darko. I watched it with the director's commentary and i still dont know the point of the film or what its on about.
