the second room in Amnesia......

Ive been there loads i love the place and i cant think what it is called!!!!!

Anyway

Im thinking Cream And AVB's night what is going to be in the second room????

was it not last year it was rumourd there would be hard house in there for some cream nights??? Not that im wanting HH in that room at all but do you think they will do anything different???

well it used to be the terrace before it got a roof.

Cream usually have house in there but what will be on Armin's night is still a mystery as far as I know. Its a new night so depending how it goes it might not be open but I doubt that with AVB

when i went last year they had Jon Carter and andy carroll in the second room.......mainly playing house, electro, acid etc.

Much better than the cheese that Tiesto and Tall Paul were pumping out in the main room.
 
the one thing that i did find a bit pathetic about the terrace in amnesia. Last year they installed what looked like to be an ice cannon. When they fired it up and let it rip it was somewhat very dissapointing.

It only works in the main room, no-where else!
 
i thought the terrace was damn cool. got one of those angel fingers massages in there at cocoon and its one of the best experiences of my life! also met green velvet in there and the guy was really down to earth.

dunno what was going on in that room at cream closing... went in to escape Tiesto... but was very strange....

wasn't Seb Fontaine rumoured to be bringing his "Type" night over to host the back room with various guests

LOL @Vinylgroover, yeah Tiesto can get a bit cheesy, although i've never seen him live. BUT would LOVE to hear Jon Carter spin!! :D
Heard him on the radio for Radio 1 weekend last year and that was one of the funkiest sets i've ever heard! ANd that was just on my puny little computer speakers at home! :eek:

yeah......if you havn't heard jon carter before it can seem weird, particularly if you're used to trance.

He plays alot of downtempo funky beats, acid house and electro.......not a mainstream sound, but still good.
 
the terrace for tuesdays is hosted by the White Party featuring DJ Paul Lomax.

the white party used to do fridays with made in italy, but they have now taken the tuesday spot. only heard good things about it, although never been myself. paul lomax is also resident down at jockey club in salinas on 2 days, so expect a balearic feel to the night
