Was having dinner with my fam on our back deck when a mother racoon deposited her 6 babies in one of our trees. They had a great time playing high up while she did god knows what (probably getting some much needed r & r). Later she came and picked them up, and I managed to snap a few pics.

That's quality. Sometimes I wish I lived in US for things like that... but we have badgers, and they are massively cool.
 
glad you guys liked em, normally raccoons are vicious and scarry but for some reason the mom wasn't pissed about having me near her babies, probably because she is so young she hasn't become angry and bitter at the world yet...

that is ****ing disturbing man

i liked these photos dude, good job! i saw a raccoon when i was standin outside my brother's having a cigarette. crossed the road then disappeared down a drain at the side of the road. was funny given that id been to the disabled and shabby animals zoo in menlo park the previous day and marvelled at how cool it would be to see one wild.
