When it comes to House music my mind seem to be split in two. Its house for party and house for listen to at other times. My definite favorite DJ is Erick Morillo, but at Pacha (Subliminal) it was only good. Quite the opposite can be said about Tïesto. I find his music quite dull for listening, but at Amnesia (Cream) it was close to fantastic.
My definite favorite for partying is Carl Cox. His music @Space was just fantastic but than again I only find it mediocre in other situations.
I live in Norway so Ibiza is the only place where it is possible to see many of the big DJs. Hence, all I have seen is the three mentioned plus Cocoon@Amnesia and something at El Divino (didn’t like the latter).
As far as possible I try only to rate the music, but can of course have been influenced by the mood on the different places, but my question to you is if anyone else agree, and is so, who’s your favorite live DJ?
(PS: My GF and I am going back in the end of June, and just can´t wait!)
