There's a plug-in you can use (I can't remember what it is) and it takes the vocal you have and can keep it at the same key, even if the singer sings different notes. Hard to explain, but it's impressive stuff.
In a geeky, techy way, i'd love to use what kit he uses to get those noises.
(he seems to use a lot of live bass)

Its the King Unique mix of "Somebody Told Me" that does it for me - superb...
