Well arrived back this morning

ok no photos as yet as to be honest i cant be arsed to upload them today.

ok so here is a short run down of what i remember of it all, i will sit down and actually write a full on one with pictures probably tomorrow night.

ok so arrived eventually on the 1st, after a 4 hour delay at the airport and was staying at the Sirenis Goleta in PDB.

i would seriously recommend this hotel to anyone it is an unbelieveable hotel, clean well maintained, staff courteous and helpfull. walls a bit thin but it doesnt bother you until you have a baby in the next room screaming through the night and day ( which happened on the last 2 days), hotel food was pretty damn good, location was decent althought the seaweed smell sometimes was a bit whiffy. we did have a crazy maid who kept telling my then girlfriend she should have a bambino

convinced i saw Alec Baldwin eating breakfast at one point...but may be wrong..may have been other things convincing me of this fact......although i did see fearne cotton at the hotel

ok so sunday 2nd.

The meet up that the whole thread was about didnt really happen it consisted of Me and the mrs, Minimarc and Caz, Smokinbabe & Cousin ( sorry forgotten your name ) i think we met Kenny G & Mrs this sunday but to be honest im not sure it was either that sunday or the following.

anyway from Bora Bora to space via the hotel, groove armada were playing upon arrival, so we sodded about in there for a while then went inside sodded about in there not sure who was on think it was Behrouz, we then left to get some food and a few drinks, during which time we seemed to loose Smokinbabe and Cousin.

once back in Space time seemd to fall apart, somehow ended up dacing in the sunset terrace to what seemed like a dance around a pair of headphones it was that loud.

then went down to the Disco for what i thought was going to be Zabiela only to find it was Sasha coming on..this was going to be the highlight of my holiday.....but no....Sasha unfortunatly killed all desire i had to dance......im the worlds biggest Sasha fan but i really didnt rate this set at all....even to the point we decided to leave after an hour.

on Monday evening my girlfriend and i got a bit dressed up (she had no clue why) we got a taxi up to the Can Den Para restaurant in Dalt villa, which was the most beautiful meal i have ever had, sat under a grape vine terrace, fantastic eatery, we had a dude come and play an acoustic guitar and sing in spanish for those that were eating.....havent a clue what he was singing about but sounded great.
after the meal we walked up as far as we could and looked out over the harbour, ( my girlfriend loves lights at night) it was that moment i chose to get down on 1 knee and propose, too my delight she accepted...... so now im an engaged man.

we didnt really do too much then until Thursday which was Renaissance Night.
by far the best night of the 2 weeks......Marcus james was great, Steve Lawler was awesome< eric Prydz was pretty good apart from a strange half hour of cheesy tunes, like the felix dont you want my love remix...

from thursday just did the usual things like drinking mooching around and generally being a tourist.

Then Sunday was another attempt at meeting up with people, met up with Pickle ( Scott) & Regina and another fella whos name escapes me now and think this was the week we met up with KennyG, had a great dance at Bora Bora,

didnt really do very much after that, Formentera, tried to get 2 sunsets in San an and both times was cloudy, so was a bit annoyed at that.

Wednesday was Superfreeq @ DC10, 1st time at DC10 and was impressed by the club...Scarlet Ettiene was great to listen to as usual, after her it got a little to Techno for my tastes so decided to head back....this was the only time i witnessed the Guardia Civil doing what everyone has been going on about all summer, see 2 taxis pulled over and people being very heavily searched.

also during the week met up with some guys i know from over san an side, also Met up with Judith who was a pleasure to chat with.

to be honest spent most of our time at Bora Bora during this holiday......went to the Hippy market......well not very hippy and far too crowded...althought bought one of the best tasting burgers from there so not complaining too much.

got to have a good chat with Alex Miles @ Bora Bora and Robin @ the Orange Corner, both you guys are a pleasure to talk to.

as i say, will write a more detailed one with picture when i sort myself out a bit and get used to being back in gloomy manchester

I went to this night also Darren and it would have been good to meet you. It was a little quiet for me in there and my mate was complaining about the music. It was only 10E to get in and 7E a beer though. It s back to gloomy Manchester for me also im afraid.

got a table booked here for saturday night, so glad to hear you enjoyed it!

congrats by the way! :D

Congrats on the impending nuptuals...

Sorry I didn't get your number and meet up with you out there. I'd figured that with 100 odd people it would have been a bit carried away. If I'd have known there was only gonna be a few of you I would have...

Thoroughly agree about Sasha and Prydz. I'm usually Sasha's biggest flag waver, but his short set was absolute tosh.

And I'm assuming you are talking about Prydz's electrohouse shat towards the end of his set? Was fairly clattered by the end of it but I'm sure he played that awful Mobbin Show me love. No need... love all his own stuff he was playing earlier.

Anyway, welcome back

Hey Darren awesome meeting you and your girl there, the other guy was my boyfriend Scully. Had alot of fun. It really sucks to be back. I got back on sept 10th and I am still in Ibiza mode and depressed. I don't know why but I always get so upset after getting back. I miss it. I can't stop thinking about it and what I would be doing if I was there right now. I know i'm a loser! tee hee. Anyways what the hell happened to all you people? HMMM??? Oh well next time. Hey Roman it was nice meeting you too, sorry it was on the day I was leaving though. I hope you met up with Scott. I had an amazing time. Met Paul Van Dyk for a hot second, met Judge Jules who I adore, and Jonathan Peters (from NY) all nice peeps. Heared the best music ever and partied like a rockstar! Amazing. Went to London on sept 9th and got to see a free show of the chemical brothers, it doesn't get any better than that for a last night to a vacation. I did get like the flu for a whole week after I got back, so did my boyfriend. Left my digi camera battery charger and battery in my london hotel and got charged 302 british pounds by easy get for excess baggage, which totally sucks but, still the best week ever!
