I think I speak for all londoners here when I say thanks for all the nice posts all the non-London folk have put up. Like those from the US, other parts of Europe and other parts of the UK.

I was just scrolling through all the threads on the subject and reading all the lovely posts gave me goose bumps!! 8)

I thought that too :D Most of these people don't know us from Adam yet were concerned for us and wanted to pass on their thoughts. I also got texts from various people on here who I've only met a few times on Thursday morning checking me and Tom hadn't been affected by it which I was really touched about.

Thankyou everybody, it shows what lovely people are out there xx

What a sweet thing to say, and glad you noticed 8) We take it personal, and that is one reason why this board is so amazingly unique, tight and emotional over each other... never been part of an online community like this before. So happy that everyone seems to be safe and sound. :P

Nicely said mate.

For a non-Londoner with lots of friends who live in the capital Thursday was a really bad day watching events unfolding. I was in a meeting in Oxford and then caught the story unfold on TV. It was a painful few hours waiting for texts to come back from you and many others that I have met though this board and clubbing in London. Made worse by mobile networks being down but not knowing.

It was/is a massive relief that everyone was OK and I thinks it's testement to the community on here that this is a really genuine group of friends with a great affinity for eachother, demonstrated by all the concern when all the sh1t happened.
