Thank you to Stivi and the team for 4 great nights at Space

Just wanted to post a heartfelt thank you to Stivi and the clubbing team for organizing 4 brilliant parties at Space for Spotlight this year.

The last one was yesterday night - the vibe, as ever, was so warm and friendly - the music by Kenneth Bager and Ric James (!) was really funky and brilliant to dance to. It was also great to finally meet some people I've never met last night (Tuur and Ric) as well as many others I hadn't seen for ages.

I know how much hard work has gone into making these such a great occasion - tks Stivi, tks James and Jordan and the rest of the team for being awesome hosts and ensuring the parties were some of my favourite nights at Space this year!

sunday night was a great one again - thanks to everyone that came down, was lovely to see all of you again - and some new people too. the silent lurkers as well as the 'proper' members! I'm sure I've forgotten a few, but I do remember meeting Tuur (finally eh!), Delmarsunset, Elmooreo and then a few that I already knew such as sophie vip, a-hammer (two el salon takeovers done - you get the award!) and loads more. It also made me realise how many people come here to read on an almost daily routine but never get a login - come on guys, join the family ;)

we are certainly looking to continue doing this next year - it's been a fantastic first season for us. watch this space ;)
 
Can you announce on here whatever dates you do this for next year as soon as you know?
might arrange my trip around it.. Plus I want to take James up on the free entry offer for the spotlight veterans he promised :p
 
Oh yeah! Great party!! Awesome to finally meet Stivi, James and the rest of the Spotlight team. See you all next year :)
 
I had a great night and enjoyed the Free shot thanks Stivi!!

We went in around ten for stripped and spent the first 2 hours in the Sunset Terrace dancing before moving into the Terrace for most of the night. We popped into El Salon for a boogie a couple of times but unfortunately it was a bit too hot for us to stay too long. Who were the two guys who were doing Stripped and then opened the Terrace at midnight? I think it was the same two guys anyway haha

One thing I found surprising about that night was Discoteca.... What a load of garbage. We tried to go in for a bit but the 4 or 5 times we tried it was awful.... On the rare occasion there was music playing it was crap, other than that just a load of bleeps feedback and white noise. The Terrace was absolutely rocking though so that saved the night!
 
I thought the exact same thing about the discoteca...
On the terrace I believe it was Jason Bye and..... Not sure who the other guy was.

Terraza and Salon the best by far.

Think it was Benoit & Sergio on the terrace first... :) I remember walking into the discoteca and the music seemed to being going half the speed?!!? In my state of increasingly drunken confusion i was going to climb onto stage or make hand signals like a true pro to let him know the speed was only at 33 instead of 45 but i retired to El Salon for more drinks and better music... :)

It was amazing meeting everyone that i can remember... Delmarsunset, i think you came up to the decks but you literally disappeared in a cloud of smoke (or was that my drink kicking in again :rolleyes:) and also a-hammer aka The Champagne Kid :D... Elmooreo, i can't remember meeting you.. :confused: Was i "in the zone" by this stage?? :lol:

Obviously, it was amazing meeting everyone from Spotlight and i hope i'll meet some or all of you again in just 13 days time (13 long, long days)... That goes for anyone else on the forum by the way (27th - ????Oct)...

Can't thank Spotlight, Space, Float Your Boat, Safehouse and Mixcloud enough for those 4 days!!!! Some of the best experiences of my life and that boat party WAS the best Ibiza experience i've had yet in my long and distinguished Ibiza service...

Looking forward to the next chapter!!!

I should have been more specific... Sunset terrace

I didn't meet nearly enough spotlighters... I don't think... Lol.

Also, a review at some point, currently trying to fit my life into two suitcases for moving back to Nottingham on Wednesday :(

Must get it done before the next ibiza trip though!

Yeah I came up to say hello and then had a bit of a dance and then sat down for a bit at the side. I was fairly battered by then tbh
