Technics dh1200 or Pioneer hdj1000

Hi there, im just about to splash out on some decent headphones but cant decided wether to go for the technics or the pioneers. I was gonna go for the pioneers but ive heard they break pretty easily. Any advice people??

I've been using sennhiesers for nearly ten years now, but I'm getting myself a brand new set of technics cans soon. Got a couple of mates who use the pioneers and they've had no probs, so i guess it's a personal choice.
