Saturday 18th November @ the Key, Kings X, London
Itchysoul take control of the foyer bar in November and once again have constructed a right line up!!! Sean P and Richard Sen (Padded Cell) will be playing a rare back to back disco set and are joined by residents Jason Spinks and Matt Young.
For those in the know, Sean P is a disco legend. His knowledge for the music knows no bounds, mixing various comps, from Strut Records’ ‘Disco not Disco’ to joint ventures with Joey Negro, releasing Disco Spectrum III and Destination Boogie.
Padded Cell is Richard Sen & his friend Neil Beatnik. The sound draws from sources as diverse as Goblin, The Velvet Underground, Arthur Russell, Prince, Carl Craig and label boss J Saul Kane. Analogue fetishism and creeping psychosis are key themes, as is a need to create something that is both honest and unique.
This should be a sound clash that will have you tapping those little feet until the early hours!
