TAXI!

does anyone know how much it costs for a taxi from the airport to San An as we are bokking ourselves so we will have no transfers to from hotel. cheers.
 
i think last time we did it it was about £15. it wasnt to expensive. im sure somebody can give you a better answer
 
i allways thought the good thing about a taxi in ibiza was that all the fares were a set price. i never felt like they were ripping you of.

meters are a step down IMO

Got to do a 3am transfer from the Airport to San An Bay in September.

Glad to hear it wont wipe out the holiday finances too much.

Ironic that when we get a 'free tansfer' from the holiday company we only have to go to PDB in June.

hi there, am landing at ibiza at 01:35 on june 5th. we booked flights and accom seperatley so we will be needing transport from the airport to San antonio. ive read what has been said on this thread (haha im a poet) about taxi prices etc. Will there be a taxi rank at the airport, or will we have to phone for one?

or is there any other methods of getting to the resort?? :roll:

There is a taxi rank at the airport. Sometimes you have to wait quite a while for a taxi, but we've always got one eventually. However, I've never got in during the night, so I'm not sure if that would make any difference.
 
There is a taxi pick up point just outside the main entrance/exit to the airport. They're usually pretty constant. :D
 
Waiting for a taxi depends on how many flights arrive at the same time as you and whether your baggage is one of the first to come off.

We arrived last year roughly the same time as you (early hours of the morning) and didn't have to wait long at all for a taxi.

Even in the night they are pretty good, we landed when it was dark and waited no more than about fifteen minutes, even in a queue.
