Taxi to and from Mare Nostrum Hotel to Space...?

Hi guys,

We are staying at Mare Nostrum this year. Just wondered how easy it is to get a taxi to the other side of the strip I.e Space etc?

I'm assuming taxi's will go up there? I'm sure a taxi will be easy enough to book from the hotel but how many taxis are waiting about for the way back? And any rough idea on a price?

We may walk sometimes but it does seem a bit far :-/
 
its a 5 min good stroll down the road.by the time you wait for a taxi or get one from rank.you could be there.plus if its busy on road cost you more waiting in traffic.trust me,walk it.turn right out of hotel,walk down till island.turn left follow road round bend,carry on its on the right side.
 
Hell of a lot longer than 5-10 mins. Also the Nostrum wouldn't order a taxi for us last year, and there weren't any hangin about there so we'd to walk on down to the strip to get one.
 
Thanks for the replies. Yeah we would definitely walk if it were 5-10 minutes. But I'm thinking it's going to be more on the 20 minute side?

Either way I'm sure we will be fine :)
 
I was there in September, I remember constantly seeing taxis dropping people off at the gates and reception also if you needed one that bad flag one on the way!

But I would walk it its really not far probably 10/15 mins max and why not break it up by visiting a few bars on the way?
 
that walk isn't that bad ... at least you'll see bazillions of hotties on your way from mare nostrum to space :cool:
 
well said stivi.i was going to say by the time you get a taxi and then say space.the look on the driver would be a picture.ok i have longs legs so 5 mins.10 max for others. you could always get the bus 14.again waste of money and if bus is full.not nice when your all dressed up.walk it and take a look at the bars just passed jet.nice
 
It's a 15 minute walk! We've got a cab once in about 6 visits from Space to the Jabeque after El Row because we were battered but every other time we just walk in a bit of a trance haha

I would walk it as I have done a few times and I dont walk far when at home , so a good excuse for a bar crawl on the way also go by taxi and you will miss the vibe of been in Ibiza , lap it up and enjoy
