this year we decided to go it alone n book our hotel and flights ourselves

we arrive around 3am n was wondering if we'll be ok getting a taxi from the airport at that time?!?!?

probs a silly question but i dont fancy hanging round the airport for hours!:)

we fly 11pm friday the 13th july so get there in the small hours on sat 14th july!

it's like to be quite busy then but not the max peak time..........i'd say up to 15-20 mins, depending on how quickly you manage to collect your bags.

do you not get transfers??

nope...weve just booked our hotel directly n flights with easyjet x

wer in the same boat. booked flights and hotel seperate. last yr we booked a transfer seperate and it took us all round the world started in the bay then up to san an they dropped everyone of and then took us back to the bay. so took us well over an hour so cant be bothered with that again. we get there on the 15th july about 11 in the morning.

Haha
I go on the same airplane from L'pool but later, in August :) .
When you received your luggage go fast to the taxi, if you do not want to stay in a very loooooong queue.

haha i can see all this being a drama in itself!

its sly tho without fail my bag is always the last out!

when i went to tenerife my bag didnt even turn up..then went to ibiza the next yr n my bag was the last one out...so i was s**ting one to say the least!haha!

o well itl start off the fun us girls will make it entertaining somehow!

Taxi

I have always booked my own flights and hotels. I just walk out and grab a taxi. You may have to que for about 20 minutes depends on how many people think to take a taxi ,instead of the bus.

I wonder if that's why some flights are stupidly cheap - cos they get in at 3am?! I'm heading over mid-June and the 'headline' price (before taxes) of the flight was £11.99 - so a few hrs sitting in a bar waiting for my room to become available really isn't such a chore ;-)

When I've done this before there were taxis a-plenty at that time, I guess the local cab drivers know the times of the incoming flights - thus I grabbed my bags and got straight into a cab..
