Just out of interest .....

1. What age did you start?

2. How many did/do you smoke a day on average (mon-fri)?

3. How many did/do you smoke on a night out?

:?

1. When i was doing my A levels, i was 18.

2. Weekdays up to 10, weekends while drunk :?: :?: :?: joints when coming down :?: :?: :?:

Started when I was 18 and doing my a-levels too.

Smoked 20-a-day in the week, 40 at weekends

0 since January :D :D :D

Started when I was 13 (am now 29)
Smoke between 10 and 20 a day
Gave up mid Jan for 7 weeks then succumbed at the prospect of never smoking again - also probably because I kept smoking spliffs

Started when i was 30  (not even a single drag until then)

It was the weed (which spilled over from weekends to week nights) which did it for me.

I smoke 0 all day and the odd few at night with some wine and some nights not at all.

Nights out are another matter altogether, as with most 'social' smokers.

Hate the smell, it doesn't look cool and wastes lots of money - IT MUST STOP!!

........with the stress levels at home/work at present I feel personally its better to smoke than to implode/explode/spontaneously combust 8O 8O 8O - I am awaiting a lull in the stress then its tabs in the bin..... I find it very easy just to pack in (usually do it for up to 4-5 months) but the Ibiza comes round and I have to get back into training....... :?

That's the way i've felt for a while about it.

It really helps to be able to go home after a stressful day and have a few vino's accompanied by a few cigs and chats with missus sat outside in the nice weather than come home in a bad mood and feel sorry for yourself. Kind of a little treat in a way. If i'm honest i have a lot more self restraint than to let stress get the better of me, but it's easy to think a little of something bad won't do any harm. Until you feel a twinge here and there that is :?

Ditto - for us its a cup of T (dont drink through the week usually) couple of tabs whilst having our "how was your day today babe" chats walking the dog (also incorporating getting some fresh air :D ).

My stress levels are really for Mr PL - he's in a really bizarre place at the moment with work and I dont like to upset the equilibrium, so if I packed in at this point who knows what could happen :D

AND, if I am totally honest - i really really enjoy cigs...... and I think with everything else I incorporate in my hedonistic lifestyle - packing in the cigs isnt going to make that much difference in the long run..... ;)

1. What age did you start? - 21

2. How many did/do you smoke a day on average (mon-fri)? 5-10

3. How many did/do you smoke on a night out? 20-40 (depends how funked i am)

started at 14, started smoking about 5 or so a day when I was about 16-18, then at uni this jumped to almost 20 a day, which can be much more when I'm out.

switched to rollies now cos the cost is so high, it was getting to almost £100 a month when I was in love with the marlboro lights, and as a student I really can't afford that. It's a third of all my money, gone up in smoke!

Started at 11 - 22 years ago
I smoke about 10-15 roll ups a day (works out about 2oz or 50g of tobacco a week).
I smoke less on a night out cos it's a pain in the arse rolling 'em (especially when your having trouble seeing anything!!) :P 8)
