Talamanca sea clean?

Just done first swim in Talamanca bay (Hotel Sinbad end) and kept getting a whiff of sewage. Anyone know if it's safe to swim there?
 
hmmm I think they're working on this still.

IMO it's worth walking over to sa punta - water has been very clean there whenever I went lately.
 
After being here for a week, the smell is very localised near the new Nobu hotel. I think it might just be the smell from a large pile of rotting seaweed nearby.

in related news - just saw a video of las salinas today, with the beach completely gone because of "high" sea. anyone been there? looks amazing.

I think this may have been yesterday when the wind was really strong.

Was there yesterday - still big waves much of the beach had returned but the people who sell stuff & parade had few places to set up "camp"
On the Talamanca situation the whole of the bay was closed off yesterday & today & red flags were flying
