Talamanca or San Antonio bay

Hi people,

Planning on going back to Ibiza next year for my 4th trip. Previously i have stayed in San An bay - which is pretty cool and fun. But I'm just not into the constant hustle and bustle! So i was thinking of staying somewhere a little nicer and more chilled 8)

What is Talamanca like to stay? I'm more interested in doing some more exploring this time and chilling out. I love Pacha the most, so i think i will only do Pacha when i come back. Which i understand is pretty close?

I will however want to visit the sunset strip in San An on the first night - is it easy to reach by bus??

Talamanca is nice.

I stayed at El Corso for a couple of visits (it's actually more Marina Botafoch than Talamanca, really, but same area). Short walk to the beach on the bay of Talamanca. Sandy, shallow water. Not bad.

It was easy to get to across the harbor to Ibiza Town thanks to a shuttle boat from the marina every half hour or so. You can get to get to San An by bus from ctr. Ibiza.

Talamanca is very close to Pacha. 10 minute walk?

talamanca's my favourite resort. the restaurant sa punta at the far end is top drawer and there's another fishy place over the rocks that doesn't have a name which is even nicer! there's also another nice place to eat where you can to take your own wine, it's in the backstreets, don't know the name. good for food all round really. plenty of bars literally right on the sea, feet in the sand. quiet. few brits. amazing. wish i was there now.

I was at that fishy place over the rocks on the 17th of this month, only wanted a light lunch so decided to leave out the fish. Ordered the salad and patatas only,it was a massive platefull !
Must have been four times the usual portions, couldn't finish it......but yeah, lovely place.

You should consider the North side of the bay in San Antonio near Cala Gracio. Much more chilled and relaxed with sunsets and a gateway to explore the more natural parts of the Island like the Santa Agnes valley, San Mateo, and on towards Benirras and the North. Golden Buddah, Cafe Mambo and Del Mar are nearby.

Here is a place I would recommend http://www.ibiza-spotlight.com/apartments-solbahia/

Agree with Bez above, if you like san an but the bay is too much like butlins for you then have a look around the north part of the town around calo des moro, the Abrat is a good hotel within easy reach of the action and its not as commercial as the rest of san an
