Where do a-listers like yourself hang out then?

Is it full of easy going guys like yourself?
Well I certainlly don't concentrate on chasing this weeks "scene".
My experience of Shoreditch (and yes, now Hoxton Square is "uncool"), is that it is, and that crowd, almost by definition trying to be different, and then get's to be the aforementioned "look at me, aren't I different/isn't my hair wierder/aren't my trainers rarer/haven't I smiled less than you"
The whole constant crave to be "cool" isn't organic, and I'd never have the energy to keep up.
And I'm bored, frankly, of people like you always "dissing" what they "were all over" 6 months ago (though that I feel we'll have a polar disagreement on - eg NDSM etc) and how you're all patting yourselves on the back "pushing the scene" with your wild parties never seen before in London or whatever you want to convince yourself you're doing.
All this, bearing in mind I was dancing shoulder to shoulder with all the same crowd 5 years ago, listening to, though I'm sure you won't believe me, funky house. Only then there was far less attitude (other than a minor professional criminal one), and I seeme to remember people talked to each other more, and there were less barriers (and frowns)
I don't want to be nasty or nowt, though you've answered your own questions in your previous post. I just don't like it all. Each to their own. I know loads of nice people who love that scene, and that's fair enough.

Shoreditch is all about trashy Sundays in East End dives full of freaks, not 'who's got the trashiest mullet and the best sunnies in Zigfrid this week?'
I think you're maybe kidding yourself if you think there's a massive difference.
Though I could be wrong, it's just IMO.
