Has anyone else done a sweepstake in their work for the World Cup? I've just pulled out Japan :evil: Luckily there's a prize for the loser aswell as the winner :lol:
 
I've entered a pool with a bunch of journalists and financial analysts around town. We had to call each game (you get points for choosing the correct winner and more if your score is right), as well as the quarterfinalists, winner, and top 3 scorers.

(I did not have Japan making the quarterfinals ;))
 
we did one for the FA cup - I got Chelsea but liverpool won :cry:

We should really do a world cup one really. Might suggest it. I'm the office entertainments organiser blokey so it's probably my job :lol: :roll:

I don't think being able to choose teams would really make much difference to me though, would it! :lol:
 
We've done one - great fun! lots of bitterness flying around over email!

I'm happy because I've got Argentina...and the rest of the team have England and => Brazil. 8)
